Big Fish championship game rained out

The Bill Miller Big Fish Tournament championship game was cancelled due to rain this afternoon. The Post 20 Twins were scheduled to play Columbia (Tennessee).

The biggest factor behind the decision was because both teams did not want to risk injury to the players.

Columbia currently has a few prospects who are hoping to make it to the bigger leagues, and the Twins hope to keep their players healthy and injury-free as they would like to keep their roll going.

The Twins won all three games in the Big Fish Tournament, including a 2-0 win over Columbia on Tuesday. However, due to the cancellation of the title game, there will be no champion in for the tournament.

The morning games were able to be completed, as Castroville (Texas) edged East 4-3 in seven innings, and Strongsville (Ohio) clobbered Eagle River 11-1 in five innings.
