State soccer cup tourney continues Sunday

Soccer State Cup continues today in Kenai
The 2012 Alaska Youth Soccer State Cup continued Saturday with the Under-15 boys losing 2-0 to the CISC Velocity Blue from Anchorage.
The U13 boys “Crew” from Kenai Peninsula Soccer Club will be playing for the state championships title today at 2 p.m. at Kenai City Fields. They face the Velocity Blue U13 squad. The two teams played earlier in the week on Thursday to a scoreless draw.
The U14 girls KPSC team, the “Rowdies”, lost 2-1 against Alaska Rush on Saturday and will play Fairbanks team Eclipse at 8 a.m.
The U15 girls tied 0-0 against Eclipse on Saturday, and play in a must-win game at 8 a.m.
The U16 “Riptide” girls lost to Velocity 5-0 on Saturday, and will be playing Alaska Rush at 10 a.m.
Finally, the U12 boys “Outlaws” lost to CSC Galaxy 6-0 on Saturday, and face up against Velocity Blue at 8 a.m.
