The Homer girls volleyball team beat the Kardinals three sets to one in a Tuesday match in Homer.
Kenai won the first set 25 to 20 to take an early lead, but lost three consecutive. The Mariners won the second set 25 to 15, the third 33 to 31, and the fourth set 25 to 14.
Kenai will face Nikiski on Friday at 5:30 p.m., while Homer travels to Grace Christian on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
