SoHi swimmers sweep Kenai Invite

Kenai Central hosted the Kenai Invitational on Friday and Saturday, and saw a very successful turnout.
According to Kenai assistant coach Judy Lallier, over 275 swimmers from various schools around the state showed up to compete, making it one of the largest swimming meets on the Kenai Peninsula in recent years.
Soldotna swept the boys and girls team titles, aided by successful swims from a few key athletes.
Alex Weeks won the girls 50-yard freestyle and finished second in the 100 free. Kaitlyn Groleske finished runner-up in both the girls 200 free and 100 butterfly.
Swimming for Seward, Isabelle Barnwell took second in the girls 500 free.
