Homer volleyball competes at Grizzly Invitational

The Homer volleyball team took fourth place at the 2012 Lady Grizzly Invitational Tournament on Saturday in Anchorage.

On Friday, the Mariners finished fourth in pool play with a 3-7 record.

In Saturday bracket play, Homer started by defeating Houston, but then lost to top-seeded Kodiak.

In the play-back bracket, Homer topped Kotzebue before losing to Grace Christian. Grace Christian would go on to defeat Kodiak in the title game.
