Both the Kenai Central and Skyview volleyball teams notched victories Thursday night.
The host Kards went five games to defeat Houston in a nonconference affair. The scores were 14-25, 25-23, 25-22, 20-25 and 15-13. Heidi Perkins served the decisive game point in Game 5 for Kenai.
The Panthers cruised to a victory over Cordova. The scores were 25-22, 25-11 and 25-7.
