The Homer Mariners basketball team dominated Skyview at home 55-13 on Tuesday night.
Homer’s Tayla Cabana led with 16 points, followed by teammate Amanda Beach’s eight points.
Homer’s defense held Skyview scoreless in the first quarter and only allowed two points in the entire first half, while the Mariners offense put up 33 points in the same amount of time. Skyview came out stronger in the third quarter, putting up eight points, but not enough to put a dent in the massive lead that Homer had built.
