Gusher tickets available

The Oilers Sweetheart Gusher Gala will take place on Feb. 16 at the Soldotna Sports Center.

This year’s event will be a semiformal, black-tie optional event. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Your $100 ticket (per person) entitles you to a catered prime rib dinner (by Kenai Catering) as well as a chance at the $10,000 grand prize!

There will also be door prizes, split the pot, live and silent auction, a booze wagon and many other events. Live music will be provided by Bull Don and the Moose Nuggets. A no-host bar will also be available.

If you would like to purchase a ticket or need more information, call the Oilers office at 283-7133. Donations for the event are always welcome.

Start making your plans for the 2013 season. The schedule will be available shortly on the Oilers website (www.oilersbaseball.com). The Oilers are excited about hosting two out of state teams this season. If you are interested in sponsoring the team in any capacity, call the office or email gm@oilersbaseball.com. There is something available for every budget. We need your support this season and look forward to a great 2013.

Oilers Corner is submitted by James Clark, the general manager for Alaska Baseball League team.
