Duwe scores at Top Prospects tourney

Four members of the Kenai River Brown Bears looking to get the attention of scouts began play at the North American Hockey League Top Prospects Tournament at the Troy Sports Center in Troy, Mich., on Monday.

Soldotna High School product Brad Duwe, Ryan Walker, Matt Seidel and Zac Lazzaro played on the Frontier squad that lost 5-3 to Texas. Duwe scored a goal on an assist by Seidel, while Ryan Walker also had an assist.

The four play the Midwest team at 12:30 p.m. AST today.
