A pair of graduates from Kenai Peninsula high schools climbed to the top of the Nordic skiing scene in Alaska on Sunday.

Knight finished in 2 hours, 4 minutes and 41.8 seconds in the race from Service High School to Kincaid Park. Dylan Watts was second at 2:05:23.

Knight was runner-up in the race three years ago and a third-place finisher last year.
