McAnallen to return to Oilers

Logan McAnallen, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound redshirt junior and left-handed pitcher at the University of Michigan, will return to the Oilers for the 2013 season. Last season for the Oilers, McAnallen posted a 4.33 ERA with a 1-1 record in 14 appearances. He recorded three saves in 27 innings pitched, with 24 strikeouts and only seven bases on balls. Batters hit .266 against him.

 

Thus far in the young college season, McAnallen is 1-1 with a 1.50 ERA.

In 2012 for Michigan, McAnallen finished 1-1, appearing in 11 games and starting three. He had a 4.30 ERA, striking out 18 and walking 13 in 29 1-3 innings pitched.

In 2011, McAnallen was 0-3 with a 5.33 ERA in 14 appearances and three starts. He pitched 27 innings that year, walking 21 and striking out 24.

He is from DeWitt, Mich., where he led his prep team to a 2009 regional championship.
