A big day at the snowmachine races

The snowmachine drag races put on by Freddies Roadhouse, located at Mile 16 Oilwell Road, saw their biggest day of the season Saturday. Racers at the event in the Caribou Hills are all members of the Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions. There are three race days left — March 23, March 30 and April 6. Among highlights reported from the race was Way Out Women coordinator Nancy Lopeman racing her grandchildren. The results follow:

270 cc — 1. Owen Ridenour; 2. Autumn Calabrese.

440 cc — 1. Keegan Ridenour; 2. Tony Calabrese.

570 cc — 1. Emlee Ridenour; 2. Brock Wilson.

700 stock — 1. Troy Anderson; 2. Fred Pollard; 3. Kier Wilson.

700 mod — 1. Cole Cooper; 2. Fred Pollard.

800 stock — 1. Zac Cooper; 2. Rudy Wilson.

800 mod — 1. Zac Cooper; 2. Cole Cooper.

1000 mod — 1. Rudy Wilson; 2. Zac Cooper; 3. Fred Pollard.

Unlimited — 1. Rudy Wilson; 2. Troy Anderson; 3. Fred Pollard.
