Freddie's Roadhouse to host snowmachine, dog races Saturday

It will be a busy Saturday at Freddie’s Roadhouse, located at Mile 16 Oilwell Road.

The Roadhouse will host the last of its snowmachine drag races in the Caribou Hills for the season Saturday.

The Roadhouse will also host the inaugural Freddie’s Midnight Run dog sled race, starting at 4 p.m. The 100-mile race will start and finish at the lodge, with the start being a shotgun start with mushers in their sleeping bags.

There will be a 12-dog maximum in the race, and a $100 entry fee. For more information, visit the Facebook page of Freddie’s Roadhouse.
