SoHi baseball swept in Kodiak

The Kodiak baseball team cruised past Soldotna on Friday and Saturday in Kodiak in Northern Lights Conference action.

 

The Bears notched a 12-1 victory on Friday and a 12-1 victory on Saturday to improve to 2-0 overall and in league. The Stars are 0-2 and 0-2.

Friday, Brandon Mahle picked up the win by striking out five in 15 innings. Soldotna’s lone run was unearned.

Saturday, Kodiak’s Jakob Arnold struck out 10 in five innings.

Soldotna’s Shayne Miller had the Stars’ offensive highlight for the weekend, banging a home run in the fourth inning.

Gavin Larson and David Rue had the other hits for the Stars.
