Results for 1st motocross race of season posted

The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions - Motocross Division got its season started Saturday at Twin Cities Raceway.

 

Saturday and Sunday, Twin Cities Raceway will host the state motocross series. Races on both days will start at about 10 a.m.

250 expert — 1. Jed Brown, 50 points; 2. Daniel Maciariello, 44.

250 intermediate — 1. Calan Putman, 50; 2. Jacques Kaune, 42; 3. Kier Wilson, 42; 4. Troy Summers, 34.

Pro — 1. Daniel Maciariello, 50; 2. Jesse Kelly, 42; 3. Jed Brown, 23.

Quad novice — 1. Asher Phillips, 50; 2. Joel Williams, 23.

Vet expert — 1. Jim Hakkinen, 50; 2. Mathew Glidewell, 44; 3. Mark Oppegaard, 40.

Vet intermediate — 1. Pat Poland, 47; 2. Mike Kelly, 47; 3. Phil Celtic, 1.

Women’s expert — 1. Stafani Miller, 25.

Youth class — 1. Kier Wilson, 50; 2. Brayden VanMeter, 40; 3. Ryder Pietro, 23; 4. Troy Summers, 22; 5. Cole Crandall, 0.
