KPSC U-14 team wins Far North tourney

The Kenai Peninsula Soccer Club Under-14 Crew boys team won the Far North Tournament this past weekend in Anchorage.

The Under-14 squad made an undefeated run through their three preliminary games, their semifinal game and the final.

In the championship, the Crew defeated Velocity Blue from Anchorage, 1-0. The Crew scored 21 goals in the tournament, while only allowing two goals.

The Crew will be representing KPSC at the Alaska State Cup Tournament in Anchorage from Aug. 6 to 11.
