Don't miss Kenai homecoming BBQ

Friday’s football game against Houston will not only be Kenai’s homecoming game, but it will also feature a good bit of barbecueing for the public to enjoy.

Hillcorp, Mike Chenault and Peter Micciche each have contributed to the purchase and sponsorship of two pigs for the annual scholarship barbecue, which will kick off at 3 p.m. at the start of the Kenai JV game and continue into the varsity game at 5:30 p.m.

This is the 27th year that Carrol and JoAnne Martin of Soldotna have put on this event in memory of their son, who died in a plane crash in Homer in November of 1987.
