CIA soccer remains undefeated

The Cook Inlet Academy coed soccer team opened up the Borealis Conference tournament on Thursday by topping Wasilla Lake Christian 6-0 in Palmer to remain undefeated on the season. The Eagles actually played the first game of the tournament on the way to the tournament in Delta Junction.

Scoring for the Eagles were Nicole Moffis, Andrew Hammond, Connor Leaf, Timmy Smithwick, Brady Hammond and Emma Lyons. Noah Nelson had the shutout in net.

The tournament continues Friday and Saturday.
