Shriners game set for Saturday

The Shriners North-South Football Classic will be held Saturday at The Dome in Anchorage. The classic is made up of three games — large schools at 3 p.m., medium-small schools at 10 a.m. and girls flag football at 1 p.m.

Soldotna head coach Galen Brantley Jr. will coach the south team in the medium-small schools game.

The games are a fundraiser to support Shriners Hospitals for Children. Over the past 10 years, the event had donated more than $200,000 to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Admission to the game is free, but a donation to Shriners Hospitals for Children is requested.
