Skyview tops Nikiski in duals

The Skyview wrestling team cruised to a 63-18 victory over Nikiski in a dual wrestling meet on Wednesday night at Nikiski.

The Panthers recorded an astonishing six pins in 10 matches, while all three of Nikiski’s wins were by pin. The lone match of the evening that didn’t end with a pin or forfeit was a 15-9 decision in the 182-pound division, which Skyview’s James Gallagher won over Nikiski’s John McCormick.

Skyview will be hosting a dual on Saturday with Homer that will also double as a celebration honoring head coach Neldon Gardner.
