Kenai wrestlers compete at Dual Championships

The Kenai Central wrestling team competed at the Alaska 4A Dual Meet Championships on Friday and Saturday at South High in Anchorage.

The Kards started the tournament by losing to eventual champion South 78-6, then Kenai lost to Wasilla Team 2 39-21. This put the Kards in a consolation bracket, where they topped West 36-0 before falling to Bartlett 40-22.

Kyle Hunter, wrestling at 182, went 4-0 for the Kards.

Aaron Troxell-Tom also had a solid tournament at 138 and 145, finishing 3-1. Zach Koziczkowski went 3-1 at 220 and 285 for the Kards.
