SoHi's Fox leads area skiers at Lynx Loppett

Soldotna’s Sadie Fox finished third at the Lynx Loppett, held Friday and Saturday at Kincaid Park in Anchorage.

 

Fox finished Friday’s five-kilometer classic and Saturday’s 4.9-kilometer skate with a total time of 32 minutes, 45 seconds. Taryn Hunt-Smith of Service won at 31:36. Hannah Pothast of Soldotna finished 12th, while Mika Morton of Skyview was 20th. Soldotna was sixth in the two-day team times, while Kenai was 10th.

Travis Cooper of Kenai finished 10th on the boys side, with a time of 35:58 in the 5K classic and 12.5K skate. Thomas O’Harra of East won at 34:30. Levi Michael of SoHi was 25th. Kenai was ninth in team times, while Soldotna was 11th and Skyview was 14th.
