Junior high volleyball camp to be held at Skyview

There will be a junior high volleyball camp on Dec. 26, 27 and 28 at Skyview High School. The camp is for seventh- and eighth-grade girls trying out for junior high volleyball in January, and is designed to give campers a jump-start on the season starting date of Jan. 6.

The camp will focus on the fundamentals of passing, hitting, setting and serving. Scrimmages and drills will be used to teach individual and team play.

There will be three two-hour sessions from 10 a.m. to noon. The instructors will be Skyview’s coaching staff and high school athletes. Participants should bring water bottles and kneepads to practice.

Registration forms are available at the middle schools.
