Seward basketball sweeps Houston

Seward Seahawks swept the Houston during the season opener for both teams Saturday in Houston.

 

Jace Taylor and Matt Barron each collected 14 points for the Houston boys, but Seward came away with a 53-38 win over the Hawks. Seward opened the game with an 18-6 first-quarter run.

The Seward girls beat Houston 38-27. Savannah Wells scored 16 points to lead Houston.
