Midwest squad loses at NAHL Top Prospects

The Midwest squad lost its first game Tuesday at the North American Hockey League Top Prospects Tournament in Michigan.

Vincent Stefan, Jake Davidson and Conor Deal of the Brown Bears all play for the Midwest squad. None had a point Tuesday.

Also at the tournament, the 18U Selects notched a 3-1 victory over the High Performance Hockey League 18U All-Stars.

Brown Bears’ Sebastian Fuchs and Nathan Colwell are on the squad, and assisted on the first goal. Carson Vance, who played for the Brown Bears last season, had a goal for the 18U squad.

Today, the tourney concludes with the Midwest squad facing the North at 3:30 p.m., and the NAHL 18U team facing USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program U-17 squad at 6 p.m.
