Oilers Corner: Opening Day gets closer

Posted: April 17, 2014 - 9:44pm

51 DAYS UNTIL OPENING DAY!

The first game of the 2014 season will take place June 8 at 2 p.m. This game will have free admission thanks to our sponsors Coca-Cola and ESPN 1140. The first 12 games of the season will feature three out-of-state teams. The first four-game series will be against the San Francisco Seals. The following four-game series will feature the Lake Erie Monarchs and the final four-game series will be against the Oceanside Waves. These first 12 games should be an exciting start to the 2014 season. League play will begin June 23 when we travel to Anchorage to face the Bucs. I hope to see you all at the ballpark!
