Oilers Corner: Oilers to host work party at ballpark

Sixteen days until opening day!

The Oilers will be hosting a work party at the ballpark on May 31 at 10 a.m. The public is welcome to come help the Oilers board and staff put the finishing touches on the ballpark so that it is ready for play on June 8 at 2 p.m. There will be something to do for all ages, so bring the whole family!

Kathy Gensel is busy securing housing for the players this season. Players will arrive around June 5. This is a very rewarding experience. You will make lifelong friendships and your kids will think you are a hero! For more information on the housing program please contact Kathy Gensel via email at dlgensel@ptialaska.net or via phone at 262-9263 or 252-7504.
