Tuesday night there were 34 men who played men’s night. Long drive on hole No. 9 went to Joel Overway. Mike Gardner hit a precise tee shot on No. 6, landing only 15 feet, 4 inches, from the green, winning closest to the pin. On hole No. 8, Tim Newby was a mere 12 feet, 11 inches, away after his beautiful tee shot. Chris Rich and Scott Sundberg both got pure birdies on hole No. 5, having to split pure birdie. What is expected with this many guys on men’s night? Yes, a chip off. Chris Rich hit the green taking his team to first place. Chris Kline, Cuz Cousins and Chris Rich took first with minus-3. In second was Mike Fastabend, Andrew Morton, Tim Newby and Rick Rolano. Men’s night is every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m.

Ladies Night

Last Wednesday night we had a great turnout of women despite the traffic in town. We had 11 women show up for a fun ladies night. On hole No. 3, Kelsey crushed the ball winning long drive. On hole No. 9, Phyllis sunk an amazing putt winning her long putt. Pat Bird hit a great tee shot on No. 8, winning closest to. First place went to Sissy Bird and Connie Orth. We love to see new faces at Bird Homestead for ladies night. Remember, skill is irrelevant, we play to have fun and meet new women.
