Kenai netters take season opener against Seward

The Kenai Central volleyball squad rallied back after an early deficit to beat Seward 3-1 in a nonconference bout Tuesday night in Seward.

After dropping the first game 25-14, the Kards came back with wins of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-17.

Sophomore Abby Beck produced 12 kills and nine digs to lead Kenai. Sierra Hall had four aces and three kills, Kiana Harding had seven kills, Amber Walters provided nine assists, Alli Steinbeck provided seven assists and Jamie Bagley recorded 19 digs.
