The Nikiski, Homer and Seward football squads filled the small-schools Peninsula All-Conference teams list for 2015, which was released after the small-schools championship decider Oct. 17 between Nikiski and Eielson high schools.

Nikiski senior quarterback Cade Anderson was awarded Offensive Player of the Year, while senior teammate linebacker Jon McCormick — who made the Gridiron Elite club at the Lawyer Milloy and Jermaine Kearse football camp in Tacoma, Washington, this summer — took Defensive Player of the Year, and Nikiski senior Luke Johnson took Lineman of the Year.

Coach of the Year honors went to Voznesenka’s Justin Zank.

Nikiski had eight of the 15 offensive player positions locked up, while Homer had five and Seward had two.

On defense, Nikiski filled seven spots, Homer had five, and Seward had one.
