Craford, Brennan take Soldotna Cycle Series 6

Mike Crawford and Angie Brennan triumphed on a rainy evening at Tsalteshi Trails in the sixth Soldotna Cycle Series race of the season.

For the first time all season, the race featured a one-lap course. The course was 6.17 miles long and had 554 feet of elevation gain and loss. Crawford crossed at 27 minutes, 33 seconds, for the victory, while Brian Beeson was next at 28:55. Brennan was the top woman, and 10th rider overall, at 32:40. Ashley Tonione was the next woman at 36:52. The top youth racer was Aiden Willets at 34:19.

The series continues Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails, with racing starting at 6:15 p.m.
