Marvin, Patterson win at Lost Lake; Taylor Ostrander grabs 3rd

Christy Marvin and Scott Patterson won the Lost Lake Run on Saturday in the 15.75-mile race near Seward. The race, which raises money for cystic fibrosis, begins at the Primrose Campground and follows the Lost Lake trail to the Bear Creek Fire Department.

Marvin clocked a time of 1 hour, 53 minutes and 37 seconds, while Patterson crossed at 1:38:27.

Soldotna’s Taylor Ostrander was the top central Kenai Peninsula finisher in third, with a time of 2:04:43. There were two central peninsula men in the top 20 — Adam Reimer in 14th at 1:55:03 and Mark Blanning in 20th at 2:02:58.
