Results posted for Family Fun in the Midnight Sun fun run in Nikiski

A fun run was held as part of Family Fun in the Midnight Sun on Saturday in Nikiski. There were three- and five-mile options for runners.

 

In the three-mile race, the overall winner in the woman’s division was Emery Quick out of the 9 and under division at 24 minutes, 36 seconds. The men’s winner also came from the 9 and under division, with Leeland Quick crossing the line at 24:45.

In the five-mile race, the top woman was Mackenzie Parrott at 44:17. Ben Carstens was the top men’s runner with the identical time of 44:17.

10 to 19 — 1. Hannah Armstrong, 28:45; 2. Camilla Gonzalez, 33:15.

40 to 59 — 1. Maria Cox, 34:26; 2. Pam Martinez, 35:34; 3. Julie Marcinkowski, 1:05:05; 4. Rose Pilatti, 1:06:35; 5. Susan McLaury, 1:15:11.
