On July 10, fourteen Alaskan golf pros will be playing a skins game for $$$$. It starts at 6 p.m. and is open and free for spectators. It is a lot of fun to watch and you’ll get to see some great golf shots from the pros. Each hole has a value and if no pro wins that hole then the dollars are carried over to the next hole until that skin is won. We guarantee that if you come out and watch, you’ll be back each and every year.

Seniors – Monday, July 3, Tim Bowser showed the rest of the seniors how to play and shot a net 27. Closest to the hole on No. 6 was Tom Hodel and Sid Cox got closest to on No. 8. Longest putt went to Vic Hussey.

Ladies – Tuesday, July 4, the ladies played Bingo, Bango, Bongo and the Low Gross went to Rita Geller, Low Net to Tanya Boedeker, two chip-ins occurred, one on No. 14 by Tanya Boedeker and the other on No. 14 by Mary McKenzie for a birdie.

Men’s Night – Wednesday, July 5. The Men play a blind draw scramble and the team of Tyler Yamada, Scott Sundberg and Darell Jelsma came out on top with a score of 31. Long Drive went to Scott Sundberg; Closest to on No. 6 went to Mike Hollingsworth and No. 8 to Darell Jelsma. The only Pure Birdie went of our super Jr. golfer Shane Sundberg.
