Crawford takes Freezer Food victory

Mike Crawford took the victory in Freezer Food Series Week 8, winning a cyclocross-inspired fat bike race in 21 minutes, 26 seconds, with Brian Beeson taking second at 26:39.

Jen Showalter was the first woman across the line, finishing at 33:50, while Morgan Aldridge was next at 36:20.

The series continues Wednesday with the Beaver Bones Challenge, with the herringbone required for the uphill climb on the Beaver Loop. Registration is at 5:30 p.m., with the race starting 30 minutes later.
