This year's golf season was lots of fun at Bird Homestead. We had lots of new golfers for ladies night and men's night. We had a great group of juniors for our junior golf program, and lots of fun tournaments.

The Kenai Central volleyball squad escaped Nikiski with a five-game victory over the Bulldogs Tuesday night. Kenai won 3-2 with game scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-14, 23-25 and 15-6.

The Kenai Central volleyball team was swept in Kodiak on Friday and Saturday in Northern Lights Conference play. Kodiak moves to 4-0 in the league, while the Kards are 0-2 in the league and 1-2 in nontournament play.

Kenai Central put together three quality quarters of football Friday night at Ed Hollier Field in Kenai, but unfortunately for the Kardinals, football games are made up of four quarters.

The Soldotna football team rolled to a 48-0 Northern Lights conference victory over Kodiak on Saturday. The 24th straight victory for the Stars moves them to 1-0 in the league and 4-0 overall, while Kodiak falls to 1-2 and 1-4.
