The Kenai Central baseball team picked up three victories on Friday and Saturday in a road trip to the Matanuska-Susitna valleys. The Kardinals improved to 4-1 on the year. Friday, Kenai beat Houston 12-8.

The Colony boys soccer team warmed up for the Northern Lights Conference tournament by beating the host Homer boys 4-1. Jake Spannegel scored twice for Colony. Chris Olsen and Kyle Bolam also recorded goal.

The Skyview softball team split a pair of games in Anchorage on Thursday. In the first game, the Panthers took a 9-3 loss to Bartlett. Skyview got to the diamond just 20 minutes before the first pitch.
