The Soldotna girls basketball team walloped the North Pole Patriots 67-27 on Saturday at the Kenai River Challenge at Kenai Central, finishing off an impressive three-day stretch of games in the tournament.

The Nikolaevsk boys and Cook Inlet Academy girls polished off titles at the Cook Inlet Classic on Saturday with victories. Both squads finished the round-robin tournament 3-0. The Nikolaevsk boys topped Nanwalek 75-44 behind 25 points from Blake Klaich.
