The host Homer basketball teams swept Skyview on Tuesday in Southcentral Conference action. The Homer girls took a 34-28 victory. Tayla Cabana had eight of her 12 points during a pivotal second quarter to lead the Mariners.

Soldotna High School graduate Bree Mucha finished seventh in the Junior 1 and older women's 7.5-kilometer classic mass start Sunday at Tsalteshi Trails. Mucha finished at 27 minutes, 50 seconds, while Marion Woods won at 26:04.
