The Soldotna and Kenai Central football teams are playing back-to-back in the First National Bowl medium-schools semifinals Saturday at Dimond High School in Anchorage. SoHi faces North Pole at 4 p.m., while Kenai takes on Juneau-Douglas at 1 p.m.

The Palmer girls and Colony boys swimming and diving teams took team titles Saturday at the Seward Invitational in Seward. The Moose scored 90 points, while Soldotna was second with 65 and Seward was third with 50.

Homer divers Jasmine Lewis and Brian Rowe won the Kenai Diving Meet on Friday at Kenai Central High School. Rowe edged out Kenai's Bill Ashwell, who had 198.90 points. Lewis had 161.

The host Kenai Central volleyball team swept Wasilla on Friday in Northern Lights Conference action. "It was our first conference win in I don't know how long," Kenai Central coach Tracie Beck said. The scores were 25-22, 25-23 and 26-24.
