The Nikiski football team outscored Seward 44-6 in the first quarter en route to a 56-6 Greatland Conference victory Saturday in Seward. Nikiski improved to 2-0 in the league and 2-2 overall, while Seward dropped to 0-3 in the league and 0-3 overall.

The Kodiak girls and boys swimming and diving teams won the Homer Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Homer. The Kodiak boys rolled up 145 points, while Colony was second with 77 points. The girls race was much closer.
