The American Legion Twins notched a 13-2 victory over host West on Tuesday in Anchorage. The game, scheduled for nine innings, went just five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. It was the third straight game the Twins invoked the mercy rule.

The Peninsula Oilers were swept out of Fairbanks, falling 5-4 to the Alaska Goldpanners on Sunday at Growden Memorial Park. The Goldpanners completed the three-game sweep with a four-run rally that took place without the ball leaving the infield.
