The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions - Circle Track Division held racing at Twin Cities Raceway on July 4.
Bill Williams was the big winner, taking the 50-lap feature that had A-Stock, B-Stock and trucks racing.
The American Legion Twins swept Fairbanks on Saturday in Anchorage to win their fifth straight game.
The Twins moved to 10-5 in the league and 12-10 overall to vault into third in the standings. Fairbanks is now 3-12.
The Peninsula Oilers topped the Anchorage Bucs 7-3 on Saturday in Alaska Baseball League action at Mulcahy Field to win their sixth straight game.
The win vaults the Oilers to 10-7 in the ABL standings. The Bucs are 12-8.
With continued dominant pitching and improving hitting, the Peninsula Oilers defeated the Chugiak Chinooks 7-2 on Friday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park to complete a four-game sweep.
The win also is the fifth straight for the Oilers, coming on the heels of a three-game sweep in Fairbanks.
