Week four of the NFL season finally brought all the hard working men and women a winning week here at Pigskin Prognosticator Headquarters.

The Dimond volleyball team swept visiting Soldotna on Saturday in nonconference action. The scores were 25-17, 25-19 and 25-11. The Stars are now 6-2 overall and play a nonconference match at Seward on Tuesday.

The Kodiak football topped host Skyview 20-14 on Sunday at Skyview in Northern Lights Conference play. The game was moved to Sunday because Kodiak had trouble getting to Skyview on Saturday due to the lateness of the ferry.

Nome defeated Skyview in the championship match of the Peninsula Challenge in Homer in two games, with scores of 25-20 and 25-22. Homer edged Seward for third place, taking the first match 25-18 and the second 25-23.

Skyview hosted its own Skyview Invite on Friday, hosting four other schools - Homer, Soldotna, Kenai Central and Seward. The Soldotna Stars swept the team titles with scores of 135 points for the boys, and 129 points for the girls.
