The Homer softball squad romped its way to a 17-4 Northern Lights Conference victory over Soldotna Tuesday in Homer.

The Kardinals baseball squad subdued the Houston Hawks with an 11-2 win Friday afternoon at Houston High School. Kenai racked up 14 hits to Houston's five. Kenai improved to 1-3 overall this year.

The Homer soccer teams notched a pair of crucial road victories Saturday at Nikiski High School. The Homer girls shut out the Bulldogs on Saturday morning with a 5-0 rout and the Mariners boys beat Nikiski 2-0 in the afternoon.
