Monday, we hosted the 2016 Birch Ridge Golf Association Pro Am and the 20th Annual All Alaskan Pro Skins Game. It was a beautiful day, with 13 teams competing for the win, and 12 professionals battling for the big prize.

The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions - Motocross Division will hold racing Saturday at Twin City Raceway in Kenai. The raceway is at Mile 6.5 of the Kenai Spur Highway and Shotgun Road, across from Beaver Loop Road.

There is nothing better than enjoying a round of golf at a very unique golf course. Bird Homestead golf course is a very fun and unique place to play a round, located 13 miles down Funny River Road. Not only is the drive beautiful, so is the course.

It may not count toward the Alaska Baseball League chase, but the Peninsula Oilers are gaining steam as the summer season heads towards the All-Star break.

The Kenai Golf Course is in excellent condition. The greens are outstanding and the tee boxes and fairways are perhaps the best in the state of Alaska. When you play the Kenai Golf Course, you will notice many striking improvements.
