On a cool, rainy day on the Kenai Golf Course, Gilbert Arellano shot one of the lowest scores in recent Kenai Golf Course history. On July 12, with the rain coming and going all day at the KGA Shootout, Gilbert shot an even par 72. Great job, Gilbert.

American Legion Twins pitchers Jake Conver and Tyler Covey combined for a no-hitter Sunday against the Delta Junction D-backs in Anchorage. The Twins (13-10 overall) won the game 15-0, so the contest was shortened to five innings due to the mercy rule.
