The host Homer baseball team defeated Soldotna 8-0 on Monday in Northern Lights Conference play. The Mariners moved to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the league, while SoHi fell to 0-3 overall and 0-3 in the league.

The visiting Homer softball team defeated Soldotna 19-1 on Monday, moving to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Northern Lights Conference. McKi Needham pitched all three innings for the Mariners, giving up just three hits and an earned run.
