Myrtle Dorothy (Foster) Wilson

Soldotna resident Myrtle “Dorothy” (Foster) Wilson died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. She was 82.

No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Wilson was born Feb. 4, 1923, in Framingham, Mass. She was a homemaker. She and her husband, Ronald Wilson, moved to Soldotna from Ocala, Fla., in August 1999.

“Dorothy was a loving wife, a great homemaker and caring mother. She will be missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After spending some 20- plus years in Florida, she and her husband, who were very adventurous, made their last journey to move to Soldotna in 1999. It was a big move to spend her last days with her soul mate. We miss you and love you,” her family said.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her sisters, Emily, Violet and May; brother, Victor; and parents.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald J. Wilson of Soldotna; children, Wayne Moulton of Vero Beach, Fla., Richard Moulton of Orange Park, Fla., Patricia Fromm of Ocala, Lois Brassfield of Moose Pass, Ronald S. Wilson of Ocala and Margaret Dahl of Ocala; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
