Barrow basketball downs Homer boys

The Homer High School boys basketball team dropped its opening game at the Anchorage Christian Schools Invitational Thursday 66-47 to Barrow.

The Whalers led 35-24 at the half. Robert Naqeak led Barrow with 19 points while Michael Donovan had 13 points.

Aaron Smith scored 14 points for the Mariners while Royce Holm netted 12 points.
