Kenai resident Jeremiah Keith Chunn died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. He was 20 days old.
A candlelight ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the American Legion Post No. 20 in Kenai.
He was born Dec. 10, 2006, in Soldotna to Kelly Templeton and Bryan Chunn of Kenai.
“God gave Jeremiah to us for 20 short days. Because of him we learned to love, hope and trust in a new way. We learned that to truly love our son we had to let him go. We listened to Jeremiah whom God took home, this we know is true. We know that Jeremiah did not die, but rather God chose him to be the ‘littlest’ angel to begin 2007,” his family said.
Jeremiah is survived by his parents; brother, Izaiah Templeton of Kenai; grandfather, Brian Templeton of Kenai; grandmother, Rita Lindsey of Kenai; grandmother and stepgrandfather, Theresa and Randy Richardson of Warsaw, Ind.; aunts, Spring Larrow of Soldotna, Sarah Templeton of Portland, Ore., and Emmaline Templeton of Warsaw; uncle and godfather, “Bo” J. Johnson of Mississippi; grandfather, Keith Chunn of Mississippi; and several cousins.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
