The state medical examiner's office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a 57-year-old woman found in the cab of a truck in Anchor Point Wednesday.
The woman has been identified as Ruthie May Coates of Anchor Point.
Alaska State Troopers responded to a 911 emergency call at 8:15 Wednesday morning from an Anchor Point man who said he found the woman in his truck and believed she was dead.
The truck was parked in the driveway of the man's residence.
Anchor Point emergency medical service medics responded and confirmed Coates was dead.
Coates' body was taken to the medical examiner's office in Anchorage for the autopsy.
