Adam Connor Williams
Sterling resident Adam Connor Williams died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at his home in Sterling. He was 2.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at the Ministry of Living Stones Church on Otter Trail Road in Sterling. Pastor Vicki Walber will officiate. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10 a.m. A memorial potluck will immediately follow the service at the Sterling Senior Center. Adam will be buried in the Buckner Cemetery in Buckner, Mo. Pallbearers will include Tony Folkes, Jordan Chilson, Kaitlin Persinger, Forrest Windsor, Nick Whitaker and Keenan Wegener.
Adam was born July 17, 2004, to Charles and Retha (Daniels) Williams at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna. He was a member of the Ministry of Living Stones Church in Sterling and a former member of the Kenai and Wasilla Christian Churches.
“Adam was a beautiful little boy who brought joy and blessings to everyone who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that he is in heaven with his big sister, laughing and dancing,” the family said.
Adam was preceded in death by his sister, Cassie Marie Williams.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Tony Folkes of Sterling; sister, Stacey Folkes of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Suzanne Williams of Kansas City, Mo.; paternal grandfather, Michael Williams of St. George, Utah; maternal grandmother, Terrie Jefferson of Marceline, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Adam’s name to Alaska USA, Federal Credit Union account No. 1304495, 43874 Sterling Highway, Soldotna, AK 99669.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
